In business since 2017, I'm an expert in feline care and behavior gleaned from working in the pet care, veterinary, feline animal welfare and pet grooming fields for more than 20 years!
 

I simply adore cats and that's why I specialize in their care. 

Kind, gentle, and knowledgeable about "all things cat,"  I provide each kitty client with personalized care in the comfort of their own home and you, with peace of mind.

The Basics:
The minimum visit time I offer is 30 minutes for $23, but you can add additional time if you like or even overnight care!  Please note, in order to provide high quality care and monitor your cat's health, I do not provide visits for less than 30 minutes.

Cat Sitting - Starting at $23 per 30 minute visit.  Each additional cat, $2 per visit

Whether your cat enjoys playing or cuddling;  is outgoing or shy, I provide a care & enrichment experience tailored to their needs. 

Each visit includes:
Feeding, love and play, scooping litter boxes and bringing in mail and packages. After every visit, you'll receive a picture and text to let you know how our visit went.  A written log is left behind as well.

By providing a kind and consistent presence for your cat , I ensure that you return home to a HAPPY and HEALTHY cat!

Administering Medications, Supplements, SQ Fluids, Nursing Care, etc.,

Educated about the most common feline diseases and lots of the not so common ones as well,  I can administer oral, injectable, ear/eye drops, asthma inhaler treatments, SQ Fluids, enteral feeding and more!  Whatever your cat needs, I've got you covered and all done in a gentle, patient, scruff-free manner that mimics, as close as possible, your routine with your cat.


MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION FEES

  • Administering up to 3 oral, injectable, transdermal, ear or eye drops and/or inhaler medications: $3, per visit, per cat. 
    If your cat needs more than 3 medications, please contact me for a quote at dbboydccl@gmail.com:

  • SQ-Fluid Administration (must be prescribed by a veterinarian): $35 per visit (does not include cat sitting fee)

  • Veterinary Nursing Care- 1 full hour - $50
    This service is for cats that have an acute illness, injury, are in an advanced disease state or need end of life (hospice) nursing care.  It can include unlimited medications, syringe or enteral tube feeding, monitoring of heart rate, respiration, temperature, hydration as well as wound cleaning and bandage changes.

About Me

Debby Boyd, Owner

Professional Cat Sitting PLUS!

Debby has 20 years of experience working & volunteering with animals in multiple capacities including; The Philadelphia Zoo, PetSmart Grooming Salon, The Animal Healing Center of Yardley, Hope For The Animals rescue organization, General Econopak - Veterinary Surgical Sales Division, Project MEOW of West Philadelphia and The Spayed Club Spay/Neuter Clinic.
 

In 1993, She left her home in Lawrenceville, NJ to work for The Philadelphia Zoo and has been in Philadelphia every since!  She is the original founder of Project MEOW of West Philadelphia and sat on the Mayor's Board of Animal Care & Control of Philadelphia from 2012 - 2015.

 

She holds a B.S. from Temple University (Go Owls!) in Business Administration and a Minor in Marketing as well as an A.S. from Mercer County Community College in Humanities and Social Sciences.  She feels fortunate to be able to combine her passion for cats with her previous business experience in the veterinary industry.

In her free time, Debby enjoys SCUBA diving, snorkeling, Jersey beaches and advocating for the humane treatment of community cats and low-cost spay/neuter programs.
